This project was part of a Cross-Disciplinary class at Pratt, where we drew inspiration from insects, and animals to inform typographical explorations, design experiments, and ultimately, a working installation. Through thought-provoking prompts and imaginative storytelling, I aimed to blur the lines between reality and imagination, encouraging curiosity and highlighting the endless possibilities within the ecosystems we inhabit.

In translating this phenomenon into design, I used Morse code as both a symbolic and literal element. These patterns served as a metaphor for hidden connections, encouraging viewers to explore what lies beneath the surface of the everyday.

Something to think about when you walk through the streets of NYC ~
What if a stop sign is sending you a message?
What if the moon is inviting you to look deeper into the sky?
What if a traffic signal is proposing a question?
What if a walk sign reveals some needed answer?
What if the shadows are alluring you to rethink their meaning?
What if fireflies are trying to communicate with you?

Final Output
The questions emerged from observing the subtle, often overlooked interactions in our environments and reimagining their significance. All the tests culminated in an immersive video that combined text, visuals, sound code elements that signified morse code inviting viewers to reconsider the ecosystems they inhabit and the infinite possibilities hidden within them.
